From what I've read about this, it's the first time our Space Shuttle has been photographed like this in space from Earth. The technology and timing it took the Frernch photographer to take the pic is second only the picture itself.

According to a study conducted by the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, there are a bunch of toxins that are absorbed into the body every time you eat grilled, fried or broiled animal products -- such as meats and cheeses.

These toxins have been linked to such things as inflammation, insulin resistance, diabetes, vascular and kidney disease -- and even Alzheimer's disease.

And then, of course, there's the usual health risk from improperly cooked meat like undercooked chicken and pork.

Other studies have shown that charred food -- even the edges of veggies -- are also a known carcinogen.

Cooking in the summertime was supposed to be fun. Who knew it could be such a dangerous undertaking?

This is the picture I was talking about that ran on the front page of the New York Times recently.  This is why I have so much respect fo our military personnel. They've got a job to do and by golly, they're going to do it no matter what the uniform of the day is.
