Mornings with Bob Robbins 5-10am Monday-Friday
Jennifer is originally from Morrilton, Arkansas. Graduated from there in 1992 and then from UCA in Conway in 1997. She is married to Micah Hines. They have two sweet little girls, Madison (7) and Willow (1 year in Sept), and two pets-Phineas(Guinea PIg) and Ferb (Chinese Sharpei).
If you missed it, today's guess was one of those machines that shoots out tennis balls. Great guess, but that is not it. Thursday morning at 7:40, we will give you another chance to be our 9th caller and win that $300. See you in the morning, KSSN Country!
New Secretary of State John Kerry has weighed in on Dennis Rodman's recent mission of "basketball diplomacy" in North Korea.
Kerry said, "Dennis Rodman was a great basketball player. And as a diplomat, he is a great basketball player. And that's where we'll leave it."
Kerry is the latest U.S. official to denounce Rodman's visit. The former NBA star returned from his trip last week with nothing but praise for North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, calling him a "friend for life." Rodman also urged President Obama to give Kim a call so the two could talk about their shared love of basketball.
Today's secret sound guess was a balloon being popped with a needle. So, no winner! But, Wednesday morning, Bob and I will give you a shot to be our ninth caller and win $300 from us and Landers Ford in Benton.
It was 50 years ago today that Patsy Cline died in a plane crash outside of Camdem, TN. She was an amazing singer and a spit-fire, too. :) Bob and I are celebrating her with our Hall of Fame song this morning.
Hannah Blaylock, a founding member of Edens Edge, has left the trio.
The two remaining members, Dean Berner and Cherill Green, are working on new music and trying to figure out what comes next for them. Dean says, "We're literally living on the 'edge' right now, as we re-group, write, and the next chapter of our band is revealed. It's a crazy but exciting time, and we hope everyone will join us on the journey."
No word on the reason for Hannah's departure.
