New SoundScan data shows that Taylor Swift scored the second-biggest selling album of 2012 with Red. The 15-track collection sold 3.11 million copies last year, making it the fourth time T has had an album listed among the top three best-sellers of the year.

The new data also shows that 2012 was a record-breaking year for country music, as five country albums are among 2012’s top 10 sellers. Previously, no more than four country albums ranked among the top 10.
