FedEx is expecting the Christmas season to be 13-percent busier than last year, so they’re hiring an additional 20,000 workers to handle an estimated 290 million holiday packages.

The busiest shipping day of the year will be December 10th, where they expect to handle 19 million boxes on that day alone.

Amazon is also expecting big business this Christmas. They're adding 50,000 workers to their payroll during the holiday season.
