Want to attract a mate? Become a foodie. A recent survey found that 70 percent of singles say they’re turned on by a date who’s knowledgeable about food and wine. As for less-desirable dining habits, 67 percent would be turned off by someone who ordered for them. Sixty-six percent wouldn’t like if if their date did not want to try certain types of food. And nineteen percent would be turned off by someone who declined the dessert menu.
