Coming up on September 21st, it's the 1st Alarm Chili Cookoff hosted by the Ward Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary! The chili cookoff is open to the public, for competition and for sampling, with all proceeds going towards upgrading medical bags and buying equipment for the Ward Fire Department.
The cookoff will feature teams of 4 making their absolute best chili! Area businesses, schools, churches are welcome to enter their team, and friends and neighbors are encouraged to team up and enter together! Entry fee is $25.
The 1st Alarm Chili Cookoff will be on September 21st from 6pm until 8pm at 405 Hickory St. in Ward, AR. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids age 5yo to 12yo, and children 4 and under are free! For more information, contact Aprill at 501.286.0483 or email wfdladiesauxiliary@yahoo.com
